In 1990 Christian Geistdörfer started with IMG (International Management Group, Mark McCormick) in London. He worked closely with Julian Jacobi, an expert in the design of driver contracts and the marketing of personality rights.
The support of F1 motorsport personalities like Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Hans Stuck, to only name a few, guarantees the seamless transition from the active to the motorsport business. This time marks the formation of lasting contacts and friendships. Both turned to new challenges in 1992.
In 1997 several approaches and offers prompt Christian Geistdörfer to return to projects in motorpsorts, especially in Formula One.
In 1998 the Warsteiner Brewery assigns the responsibility for its overall sponsoring budget. P&W Sponsor Consulting is founded the following year and contracted with responsibilities in F1, DTM (German Touring Car Championship) and the WRC.
In 2004 the Midland Group applies for the installation of a new F1 team and Christian Geistörfer is responsible for the contact with the organisations FIA and FOA, as well as the areas of marketing and corporate identity, public relations and business development. The engagement ends on the 31st of December 2005.
Since 2006 Christian focuses on the project design and management for new race tracks and their accompanying infrastructure and development investments. He approaches these complex projects holistically, hence ensuring that the numerous supporting elements for the long-term viability of a race track and its surroundings are already considered in the design phase.
